HELEN CLEWER

Head Coach, Gym Owner & Personal Trainer

Helen Clewer

From as early as I can remember sport and fitness has been a major driving force throughout my life. My pursuit of sport has seen me play international rugby, set foot in the ring as an amateur boxer, become a world record holder in Kettlebell Sport and most recently train and compete in CrossFit and Hyrox.

 

It is this passion for training that I want to bring to you. I have been able to see first-hand the incredible power that exercise can have on your life both physically and mentally. I want to help you unlock your bodies potential, whether it is conquering a complex movement or picking up a weight that you never thought possible! I want you to experience how training can empower both your body and mind to help you believe that you are capable of anything.

Whether it is because you want to compete in your first competition or your 50th, you want to gain strength and find out what you are capable of throwing around the gym or you simply want to be fitter, healthier and able to run around the park with your little ones. I am here to help you get to where you want to be. I love all things strength and conditioning and I am a big fan of keeping things simple, you don’t need to overcomplicate things to get results, but believe me, simple does not have to be boring!

Most of all I want you to enjoy your training, it is a bug that is highly contagious and I dare you not to catch it!!

Qualifications: NABA Diploma in Personal Training, British Weightlifting Level 1, IGSF Kettlebell Sport Instructor Level 1, ABAE Boxing Leader

Sports/Interests: Crossfit, Running, Weightlifting, Rugby, Functional Training. The sun on my skin, fooood and adventures with Rob the dog.

EMMA HARRIS

Personal Trainer and Group Training Coach

Emma Harris

Having trained clients for over many years, I have learned that every client is unique and has many different reasons for seeking my help. It may be for fat loss, to gain strength, to increase confidence, to learn correct and safe techniques or to improve mental health. Whatever your goal, I am here to guide, support and encourage you.

As a trainer, I believe it is important to continue to learn and grow and will always look to attend seminars and training courses to expand my knowledge. I have attended Olympic weight lifting seminars, gymnastics courses, a rowing course delivered by a former Olympian and many more.

I have a passion for anything fitness related and have taken part in many team sports, CrossFit competitions and half marathons throughout my life. However, I spent quite a few years neglecting my own personal fitness when my children were small. I remember thinking that I couldn’t possibly find the time to exercise, until I decided to go for a run one evening and it literally reignited my passion for fitness. It was a pivotal moment in my life. I gained confidence and more energy, it improved my mental health and contributed towards weight management. This was such a great feeling and it spurred me on to turn fitness into a career. I’d love to help you find a love for fitness so if you’d like to arrange a free consultation, get in touch.

HELEN FAIRMAN

Gym Owner & Group Training Coach

Helen Fairman

I've always been into active hobbies, from horse riding, being a part of a running club and training for multiple 10km's and a half marathon right to where I am now, training and competing in Functional Fitness. 

 

From teaching my friends to ride my horse when I was just a kid I've always found passion in encouraging others, passing on advice from my own experiences and seeing other people succeed. Coaching members of our gym and watching them learn, grow and reach their goals just makes my passion even stronger!​

Qualifications: Active-IQ L3 Diploma in Personal Training, Active-IQ L2 Diploma in Group Exercise. British Weightlifting Level 1, First Aid Trained, Fully Insured.

Sports/Interests: All things functional fitness! The outdoors, sunshine, good food and the simple things in life! Obvs my dogs too!

ROBERT HART

Rob Hart

Hi everyone, I’m Rob a Personal Trainer and Group Class Coach.

 

Growing up sport and fitness played a massive part in my life so much so I ended up playing golf professionally for a good number of years. I experienced the dedication, drive and persistence that it required to succeed.

 

A few years ago I stepped foot into a CrossFit gym for the first time and I was instantly hooked.

 

I work with clients from all different walks of life and all levels and abilities.

 

Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or have many years of training experience behind you, all of my sessions will be tailored to exactly all of the goals that you are wanting to achieve.

 

With so much conflicting and contradictory information out there it can be very frustrating and confusing to know exactly what to do.

 

To guarantee results I am a massive believer of keeping it simple, don’t over complicate things and most of all enjoy the process and journey that you’re on.

 

I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
